This trio is led by one of the most accomplished musicians in Britain.  Tom Berge, one of our favourite pianists, performs with some of the current Greats of Jazz, teaches piano and composes for films and television (Well worth watching and listening) – click here.

He found time to come back to The Prince of Wales where he played, frequently, pre-covid. With him on this occasion were two more favourites: Terry Howard, drums and Clive Moreton, bass. Those of you lucky enough to be there on the night will have marvelled at the way these 3 played together – Tom with the smoothest style around, Terry with an unbelievably economical style which makes quick passages seem effortless and Clive delivering a masterful demonstration of legato slides to perfect pitch.
