Clive Morton ‘Farewell’ Concert, Prince of Wales, Shrivenham

This was a very special event for Jazzin’ Shrivenham. Clive has been a mainstay of the Shrivenham Jazz scene for many years – from long before the Jazzin’ era, when jazz struggled to be heard over revelers in the PoW.

Though we all feared that this day would come, Clive said that the December ’24 appearance would be his last for us and, accordingly, we asked him to pick his ‘dream team’ of collaborators. Of course he picked two fantastic musicians with whom he has played some of his favourite gigs. Tom Berge and Terry Howard. What a fantastic show they put on.

Is this really the last show for Clive or will he have more comebacks than the Rolling Stones?
